Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Menlo Park, California office; in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week

Base pay: $111,000–$130,000 USD annually for Zone 1 locations. Additional bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Build and refine venture fund models covering management fees, committed capital, and investment performance.
• Analyze return drivers and portfolio performance to support investment evaluation and capital allocation.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on assets under management, net asset value, and portfolio returns.
• Contribute to fiscal planning and budgeting by aligning cost center spending with financial goals.
• Perform financial analyses across business areas, including modeling and performance tracking for mergers and acquisitions.
• Improve financial processes through standardization, automation, and AI-driven workflow enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–5+ years of experience in finance, investing, or investment banking, including planning and forecasting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to connect data to business outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a structured, timely manner.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presenting data and recommendations to stakeholders at different levels.
