TL;DR

Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst (Fintech): Supporting venture fund initiatives through financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and strategic planning with an accent on capital allocation and performance tracking. Focus on developing data-driven insights, automating financial workflows, and integrating AI-driven improvements to guide business decisions.

Location: Must be based in the US, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week in the Menlo Park, CA office.

Salary: $86,000 – $130,000 USD (depending on location zone).

What you will do

  • Build and refine fund models incorporating management fees, committed capital, and investment performance.
  • Analyze return drivers and portfolio performance to inform capital allocation and investment decisions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting by tracking key metrics like AUM and NAV.
  • Contribute to fiscal planning and budgeting processes by aligning cost center spend with financial goals.
  • Conduct financial analyses for business areas and support M&A activities through modeling.
  • Improve financial processes through standardization, automation, and AI-driven workflow enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4–5+ years of experience in finance, investing, or investment banking.
  • Proven experience supporting planning and forecasting processes.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to connect data to business outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a structured, timely manner.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting data to senior leadership.
