Android Software Engineer III (Android)

Salary: $123,500–$185,000 base salary per year, plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Design, implement, launch, and maintain critical user-facing features in a core Android app.
• Develop features end to end, including opportunities for cross-platform implementation.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend, frontend, UX, product, testing, and quality engineering teams.
• Align Android and iOS experiences and improve mobile developer productivity.
• Define requirements, design mocks, evaluate engineering tradeoffs, and implement regulatory protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience developing Android mobile applications.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Native Android app development experience with Kotlin.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern Android frameworks and architecture, including Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Full-stack development experience involving backend services and web frontends.
• Interest in UX and building high-quality public-facing Android apps.
• Published Android hobby projects on the Google Play Store.
