TL;DR
Senior Accountant (NetSuite/US GAAP): Own accurate and timely expenses and accruals across a global, multi-entity business, driving a clean month-end close with an accent on general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and reporting. Focus on re-engineering accounting workflows with automation and AI-assisted processes while supporting audit requests and internal controls documentation.
Location: USA - New Jersey (on-site at least three days per week; candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance). Available office locations: New Jersey, Philadelphia, Raleigh
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do
- Own assigned general ledger accounting and month-end close activities, including journal entry posting, account reconciliations, flux analyses, and related reporting.
- Prepare and review accruals across a multi-entity global organization and partner with FP&A, AP, and budget stakeholders across time zones.
- Identify, implement, and maintain accounting systems and processes, including automation and AI-assisted workflows.
- Support external audit requests, internal controls documentation, and technical accounting research as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required with strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
- 2–6 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
- Demonstrated track record of automating and improving accounting processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, macros/VBA).
- General ledger and accounting systems experience; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across time zones.
