What you will do

  • Lead and shape the long-term strategic direction of client accounts to ensure alignment with market opportunities.
  • Manage account profitability, negotiate financial arrangements, and oversee budget performance.
  • Act as a trusted senior consultant to clients, partnering at the Marketing Director level.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for organic business growth within existing client portfolios.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members, setting clear development objectives and managing resourcing.
  • Participate in new business pitches and contribute to the agency's growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Significant experience directing accounts within a Medical Education or Medical Communications agency environment.
  • Strong track record of managing account profitability, budgeting, and driving organic growth.
  • Proven ability to act as a senior-level adviser to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring, resourcing, and developing junior talent.
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare landscape, pharmaceutical guidelines, and opinion leader networks.
