What you will do

  • Own and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) from initiation to implementation.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to evaluate change impacts.
  • Build and present business cases for change requests to senior leadership.
  • Track project milestones, identify bottlenecks, and manage dependencies across multiple parallel changes.
  • Ensure all changes comply with regulatory, quality, and internal governance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within product lifecycle management systems.

Requirements

  • Engineering or design background (mechanical, product, or similar).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working in an R&D and manufacturing-adjacent environment.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, PPAP, and product quality requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Preston, UK.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with CAD systems.
  • Experience using product lifecycle management (PLM) systems like Teamcenter.
  • Familiarity with formal change management or documentation systems.
