Senior Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Analyze, design, develop, and unit test robust large-scale applications.
• Build secure, scalable, and highly available distributed applications for the SPARCS N4 terminal operating system.
• Own feature architecture, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support through the full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product management, quality assurance, and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient functionality.
• Participate in code and feature reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
• Document new modules and products and support product delivery.

Requirements

• BE/BTech, MCA, or MSc IT degree with 5–9 years of experience.
• Expertise in Java, object-oriented methodologies, enterprise application architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience building RESTful applications with Spring Boot and deploying them to AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong experience with software design, unit and integration testing, and JUnit.
• Knowledge of secure coding, scalability, performance, reliability, relational databases, Cassandra, Kafka, and JMS.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile development approaches.
• Strong domain knowledge of Navis N4 terminal operating systems.
