What you will do

• Support all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction, and delivery.
• Create and maintain formal work instructions, acceptance test procedures, and engineering memos.
• Evaluate and implement production equipment, assembly fixtures, and flow-line systems.
• Collaborate with internal resources to resolve production problems and perform material review board analyses.
• Facilitate design changes by redlining drawings and managing the engineering change notice process.
• Identify and lead initiatives for producibility and quality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Must be able to access United States Export Controlled information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, NY

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience interacting with manufacturing shop floor employees
• Knowledge of root cause/corrective action, LEAN, and project planning
• Experience with build, test, and analysis of hydraulic systems
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the year
