TL;DR

Associate Product Development Engineer (Mechanical Engineering): Improving designs of existing products and developing new product lines with an accent on robustness, cost-effectiveness, and engineering best practices. Focus on utilizing analytical and empirical methods to ensure designs meet all user, business, and compliance requirements from ideation through launch.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to North Olmsted, OH (Hybrid schedule)

Salary: $55,000 - $88,000 USD

What you will do

  • Develop innovative new products and extend current product lines.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop cost-effective manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Perform problem-solving and failure analysis using engineering tools.
  • Participate in Design Reviews, DFM, and DFA activities.
  • Compile and present technical data for project updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Experience with 3D modeling CAD software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work hands-on with prototyping and troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to work on-site in North Olmsted, OH for a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

  • Prior Co-op or internship experience.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or 3DX.
  • Exposure to FEA, DRBFM, FMEA, DOE, and DFMA.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
