What you will do

  • Develop and roll out a comprehensive Japan strategy for online business growth, focusing on marketplaces and D2C.
  • Devise and execute sales strategies across all online channels to deliver short, medium, and long-term wins.
  • Drive sell-out performance and provide clear business forecasts and revenue reports.
  • Collaborate with local teams and HQ to develop annual marketing plans and track performance metrics.
  • Partner with agencies to implement digital reseller marketing best practices and optimize shopper conversion.
  • Analyze market trends and business data to drive informed decision-making and future planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales planning experience, including forecasting and monitoring business metrics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling consumer products, ideally hardware devices, in the e-commerce space.
  • Native or fluent Japanese proficiency and business-level English.
  • Strong data-driven analytical skills and experience with digital marketing programs.
  • Deep understanding of channel margins, rebates, and the digital reseller marketing landscape.
  • Hands-on approach with strong collaborative and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the IT industry as sales or marketing.
  • Strong mindset for web UI/UX and digital ads operation.
