What you will do

• Develop and execute a localized Japan marketing plan focusing on brand visibility and cultural relevance.
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) campaigns.
• Collaborate with local sales teams and regional HQ to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
• Manage external agencies, influencers, distributors, and media partners to drive impactful campaigns.
• Lead esports marketing initiatives, including management of signed teams and community engagement.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform and optimize local marketing strategy.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of marketing experience in gaming, tech, or consumer electronics.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English (verbal and written).
• Proven expertise in outreach marketing, PR, influencer engagement, and social media strategy.
• Demonstrated success in managing NPI campaigns and localizing global content.
• Strong experience working with local sales and channel teams.
• Ability to navigate local Japanese business culture in a multi-national environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with esports, gaming communities, or gaming content creators.
• Basic understanding of Photoshop or design tools for asset adaptation.
• Experience with AI tools for translation, text adaptation, or artwork.
