QHSE Manager (Maritime)

What you will do

• Develop and improve the QHSE Management System in alignment with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and ISM Code.
• Monitor vessel and office compliance through internal audits, inspections, and management reviews.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage pre-vetting inspections, oil major audits, and ensure continuous TMSA compliance.
• Coordinate emergency response plans for pollution prevention and safety incidents.
• Provide regular performance reports and documentation for senior management reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant QHSE experience within the tanker shipping industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISM, ISO, MARPOL, SOLAS, and industry best practices.
• Proven experience handling vetting inspections, audits, and TMSA compliance.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Master's Certificate (Deck or Engine) or equivalent technical/maritime qualification is highly preferred.
