What you will do

• Oversee quality processes for construction, reinstatement, and streetworks in compliance with NRSWA, CDM, and local authority requirements.
• Conduct SHEQ inspections and site walkdowns to ensure safety oversight and verify safe systems of work (RAMS).
• Lead monthly QHSE reporting, including analysis of quality data, defect trends, and safety incidents.
• Manage environmental assessments and ensure excavation activities comply with environmental controls.
• Drive targeted improvement interventions with service providers and coaching for field supervisors.
• Represent QHSE interests at customer-facing governance meetings.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the UK.
• Essential certifications: NEBOSH Certificate and NRSWA Supervisor (or equivalent streetworks qualification).
• Demonstrable operational experience in construction or streetworks.
• Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety within utilities, construction, or telecoms environments.
• Ability to interpret audit, incident, and quality trends to drive improvements.
