Claims Adjuster (Energy)

hirify.global is a global insurance business with a London Market Claims team based in Leeds.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of London Market claims from first notification through settlement.
• Triage, diarise, review, reserve, and update claims accurately across internal and London Market systems.
• Build relationships with brokers, insureds, third-party providers, co-insurers, and market partners.
• Monitor the performance of TPAs, lawyers, and adjusters, escalating issues when needed.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Outwards Reinsurance teams.
• Provide claims insights for reporting and contribute to process and team improvements.

Requirements

• Previous claims experience, preferably in commercial insurance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the London Market or relevant claims systems.
• Experience handling Marine, Energy, including Renewables, or Professional and Financial Risks claims.
• Ability to analyse claims data and identify key trends.
• Collaborative approach and eagerness to contribute ideas.
