What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of London Market claims from first notification to settlement.
  • Triaging, diarising, and reviewing cases while applying hirify.global’s reserving and claims philosophies.
  • Update in-house and London Market systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build trusted relationships with brokers, (re)insureds, third-party providers, and co-insurers.
  • Monitor performance of TPAs, lawyers, adjusters and raise issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Outwards Reinsurance; provide insights for reporting and drive process improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous claims experience (commercial insurance preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of the London Market or relevant claims systems.
  • Experience handling Marine, Energy (including Renewables), or PFR claims.
  • Ability to analyse claims data and identify key trends.
  • Collaborative mentality and eagerness to contribute ideas.
