What you will do

• Supervise and mentor a team of claims specialists, monitoring workload, quality, and performance metrics.
• Provide technical guidance on high-exposure claims, coverage issues, and reserve management.
• Review and approve complex correspondence, coverage position letters, and large loss reports.
• Coordinate with underwriters and actuaries to align claims operations with organizational objectives.
• Support underwriting by advising on policy wordings and participating in renewal meetings.
• Travel to mediations, trials, and conferences as required by business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of industry experience in insurance claims.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience managing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
