TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Stockport, UK (Hybrid arrangement).

What you will do
- Design, debug, and validate hot-swap protection and eFuse implementations for high-density rack systems.
- Perform detailed MOSFET Safe Operating Area (SOA) characterization and thermal validation.
- Create technical literature, demo boards, and reference models for 48V power distribution systems.
- Define new product specifications based on customer inputs and market trends.
- Provide expert technical support to global sales teams and customers to resolve complex power delivery challenges.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a relevant discipline.
- Legal right to work in the UK or eligibility for visa sponsorship.
- Proven expertise in circuit simulation (e.g., SIMPLIS, LTspice, PSpice) and PCB design.
- Willingness to travel globally to technology hubs (e.g., USA/Asia) on short notice.
- Passion for AI infrastructure or Data Centre power systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with 48V distribution, OR-ing FETs, and high-current MOSFET switching.
- Knowledge of Server Power Supplies (CRPS) and AI Accelerators.
- Advanced simulation skills including FEA, SPICE modeling, and thermal analysis.
