Communication Intern

TL;DR

Communication Intern (Internal Communications): Supporting internal communication activities and storytelling within a dynamic international banking environment with an accent on content creation, event support, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on managing internal channels, editing multimedia content, and ensuring effective communication across digital platforms.

Location: Must be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders) and based in Amsterdam (Hybrid)

Salary: €700 per month

What you will do

• Create and publish internal communication content including articles, posts, and visuals.
• Support video production from script development to final publication.
• Manage and update internal SharePoint pages and Viva Engage channels.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align on messaging, audience, and timing.
• Assist in the execution of large internal events such as Digital Horizon and CI Week.
• Write event summaries and follow-up communications for internal distribution.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Communication, Media, or Marketing.
• Mandatory enrollment at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders).
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Proactive, creative mindset with the ability to take initiative.
• Structured working style with strong collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Canva, video editing software, or SharePoint.
• Proficiency in Dutch.
