Global Communications Intern

TL;DR

Global Communications Intern (Communications): Supporting the global communications team in internal and external storytelling, content creation, and campaign management with an accent on digital channel optimization and performance analytics. Focus on building brand reputation and employee engagement to support the company's strategic priorities in the energy transition.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Apeldoorn, Netherlands (Hybrid)

Salary: €500–€550 per month

What you will do

• Write and edit articles, news updates, and leadership messages for internal and external channels.
• Transform complex topics into clear, engaging stories for diverse audiences.
• Support internal campaigns that bring company strategy and culture to life.
• Manage and optimize digital channels including intranet, internet, and social media.
• Assist in planning and executing global communication initiatives and events.
• Track performance and engagement metrics to improve communication impact.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Communications or a related field at a university in the Netherlands (WO or HBO-level).
• Strong interest in corporate communications and storytelling.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Proactive, curious, and organized mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital tools such as SharePoint or Canva.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
