Communications Specialist (Ecommerce)

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam, Paris, or Lisbon); minimum of two days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Drive PR campaigns and translate business priorities, trends, and data into media-ready stories.
• Create high-quality written content including press releases, pitches, op-eds, and reports.
• Guide PR agencies to secure coverage and nurture direct relationships with key journalists.
• Manage reactive communications, inbound press requests, and handle sensitive reputational issues.
• Implement generative AI tools to optimize ideation, research, and PR workflows.
• Collaborate with Category and Brand teams to deliver integrated multi-market campaigns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in PR or communications, ideally in media, agency, or tech.
• Hands-on experience in pitching stories and securing high-quality media coverage.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills with the ability to craft compelling news hooks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in or near Amsterdam, Paris, or Lisbon to support the hybrid work model.
• English: Professional proficiency required (English CV and Cover Letter).

• Experience working in international environments or coordinating with multi-market PR agencies.
