What you will do

• Collaborate with business teams to elicit, analyze, and document API and integration requirements.
• Define API specifications, including request/response structures, payload formats, and data mappings.
• Work with architects and developers to ensure API alignment with platform standards and business outcomes.
• Ensure API implementations meet Operations and Compliance requirements.
• Identify potential solutions and define selection criteria in collaboration with vendors and development teams.
• Use continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and enhance customer service.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a business systems analyst in the brokerage securities or financial services industry.
• Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and system architecture.
• Experience with API integration, SoapUI, Postman, and XSD.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms.
• Understanding of cybersecurity risk management principles.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
