What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure on AWS using Aurora PostgreSQL, RDS, S3, and Snowflake.
• Implement and operate core data systems across ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration layers.
• Apply best practices in data modeling, observability, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD automation.
• Support and scale distributed data systems including Kafka and caching layers.
• Partner with application, analytics, and AI teams to enable efficient and self-service data access.
• Participate in design reviews, contribute to technical standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud-based Data Infrastructure or Database Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS Data Services (Aurora, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, Athena).
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
• Hands-on experience using Terraform and GitLab for CI/CD automation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time or streaming data platforms like Kafka or Databricks.
• Exposure to data governance and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or SOC2.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.
• Prior experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
