What you will do

  • Manage and provide leadership to the Reporting Analysis team covering IFRS, UK GAAP, and Solvency II results.
  • Oversee the analysis of profit and change for all regulated insurance entities, including commentary for the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with latest accounting and actuarial standards and hirify.global’s internal methodology.
  • Manage internal controls, including quarterly attestation of the RCSA and Internal Controls Framework.
  • Support the external audit process and liaise with Investor Relations regarding financial reporting results.
  • Drive continuous improvement and transformational change in reporting processes and outputs.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Extensive experience in Life Insurance financial analysis under IFRS, Solvency II, and UK GAAP.
  • Strong understanding of with-profits product complexities.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex teams in financial services.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a strategic, big-picture mindset.
