What you will do
- Manage and provide leadership to the Reporting Analysis team covering IFRS, UK GAAP, and Solvency II results.
- Oversee the analysis of profit and change for all regulated insurance entities, including commentary for the Board.
- Ensure compliance with latest accounting and actuarial standards and ’s internal methodology.
- Manage internal controls, including quarterly attestation of the RCSA and Internal Controls Framework.
- Support the external audit process and liaise with Investor Relations regarding financial reporting results.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformational change in reporting processes and outputs.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACA, ACCA).
- Extensive experience in Life Insurance financial analysis under IFRS, Solvency II, and UK GAAP.
- Strong understanding of with-profits product complexities.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex teams in financial services.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a strategic, big-picture mindset.
