What you will do

• Direct a team of actuarial professionals and design the functional operating model.
• Manage reserves, capital, and liquidity, including the maintenance and improvement of models.
• Contribute to strategic direction regarding product, rate setting, and risk assessment options.
• Lead technical and regulatory discussions with the PRA and governance bodies.
• Ensure strict adherence to UK Solvency II standards and manage internal model calibrations.
• Mentor a high-performing team and maintain strong relationships with Risk and Internal Audit.

Requirements

• Qualified actuary with extensive experience in GI pricing, capital, and reserving.
• Deep knowledge of UK Solvency II legislative requirements and internal model calibrations.
• Proven experience in business planning, specifically regarding stress and sensitivity analysis.
• Ability to communicate sophisticated technical matters to senior executive audiences.
• Track record of delivering complex projects across different functions on time and within budget.
• Experience leading teams through organizational change.
