What you will do
- Direct a team of actuarial professionals and design the functional operating model.
- Manage reserves, capital, and liquidity, including the maintenance and improvement of models.
- Contribute to strategic direction regarding product, rate setting, and risk assessment options.
- Lead technical and regulatory discussions with the PRA and governance bodies.
- Ensure strict adherence to UK Solvency II standards and manage internal model calibrations.
- Mentor a high-performing team and maintain strong relationships with Risk and Internal Audit.
Requirements
- Qualified actuary with extensive experience in GI pricing, capital, and reserving.
- Deep knowledge of UK Solvency II legislative requirements and internal model calibrations.
- Proven experience in business planning, specifically regarding stress and sensitivity analysis.
- Ability to communicate sophisticated technical matters to senior executive audiences.
- Track record of delivering complex projects across different functions on time and within budget.
- Experience leading teams through organizational change.
