TL;DR

Buyer (Supply Chain): Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions, manage inventory levels, and track supplier orders to support product and operational requirements with an accent on ERP-accurate procurement execution and data-driven continuous improvement. Focus on resolving order/delivery/invoice discrepancies, building supplier relationships, and developing actionable supplier KPIs using Oracle or SAP SCM and Power BI.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 total compensation

What you will do

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in ERP systems to support product and operational needs.
  • Analyze purchasing reports, prioritize orders by business-critical timelines, and track delivery risks and updates for stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies across orders, deliveries, and invoices.
  • Maintain compliant procurement processing aligned with procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Build supplier relationships and drive data-driven continuous improvement using supplier KPIs.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP SCM is required, including strong purchase order management and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ability to operate in both centralized and decentralized procurement environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence outcomes and support value-driven initiatives.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the elevator industry or a similar industrial/technical sector.
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar) to develop dashboards and actionable KPIs.
