Director, Procurement

TL;DR

Director, Procurement (Logistics & Supply Chain): Leading sourcing strategies and optimization of procurement processes across the region with an accent on direct and indirect spend portfolio management. Focus on implementing sourcing best practices, optimizing the regional supply base, and enhancing vendor management maturity.

Location: Remote (Canada). Must be authorized to work in Canada

Salary: CAD 130,000 – 140,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead sourcing strategies and optimize procurement processes, systems, and tools across the region.
• Manage a portfolio of $800M+ in direct and indirect goods and services spend.
• Develop regional category management strategies and lead the Procurement Leadership Team.
• Implement sourcing best practices, reporting, governance, and knowledge management frameworks.
• Ensure risk management through robust contracts and monitoring of financials, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Rationalize the regional supplier base to optimize efficiency and total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement management.
• 5+ years of experience supervising employees.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Advanced proficiency in GEP eSourcing tool and Oracle E-Business Suite.
• English: Advanced (C1) required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree (MBA or Procurement/Supply Chain Management).
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation.
