What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements under tight month-end deadlines.
• Develop and maintain internal/external reports and verify data accuracy.
• Analyze large, complex datasets using Excel to research and draw financial conclusions.
• Manage the accrual process for various business units and ensure completeness.
• Assist with external audits and internal controls assessment processes.
• Partner with finance groups and cross-functional departments to account for unique transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with SAP.
