What you will do

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, performing risk assessments and developing tailored audit strategies.
• Evaluate internal controls, review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage multiple engagements, timelines, staffing, and deliverables while identifying issues and solutions.
• Serve as primary client contact, communicating findings, recommendations, and fostering long-term relationships.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing feedback and supporting professional development.
• Identify process improvements, stay current on standards, and collaborate across service lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience focused on audit engagements.
• Strong knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory frameworks like PCAOB.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and lead teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and integrity.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward licensure.
• Experience supervising audit staff.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, UltraTax, and AdvanceFlow.
• Exposure to complex audits or specialized industries.
