What you will do
- Operate CNC equipment, including lathes and milling machines.
- Monitor multiple CNC machines and auxiliary equipment to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Perform machining tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor.
- Check and document product specifications based on Quality Assurance and supervisor requirements.
- Collaborate with fellow operators and the Quality Assurance team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, plug gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Experience reading blueprints.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to establish employment eligibility, complete background checks, and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Nice to have
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines in a production environment.
- Experience replacing and troubleshooting worn tooling.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
