What you will do

  • Operate CNC equipment, including lathes and milling machines.
  • Monitor multiple CNC machines and auxiliary equipment to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform machining tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor.
  • Check and document product specifications based on Quality Assurance and supervisor requirements.
  • Collaborate with fellow operators and the Quality Assurance team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, plug gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Understanding and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to establish employment eligibility, complete background checks, and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice to have

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines in a production environment.
  • Experience replacing and troubleshooting worn tooling.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
