What you will do

• Own and execute the end-to-end Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment (ICARA) process.
• Design and run stress testing programmes to challenge capital positions under various macroeconomic scenarios.
• Develop and maintain capital models, including Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 requirements and operational risk quantification.
• Prepare high-quality regulatory submissions and responses to FCA consultations and thematic reviews.
• Partner with Finance to integrate risk perspectives into capital planning, forecasting, and strategic M&A initiatives.
• Provide clear capital adequacy MI to the Risk Committee and Board to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Significant experience in prudential risk, capital management, or quantitative risk within financial services.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of MIFIDPRU and the ICARA process.
• Proven track record in developing capital models and quantitative risk methodologies.
• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and engaging directly with the FCA or PRA.
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to communicate complex technical outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication skills suitable for Board-level and regulatory consumption.

• Professional qualification such as CFA, FRM, or ACA.
