What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems and subsystems.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity using RMF, SMF, and SDSF.
• Diagnose and resolve system abends and failures through root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using System REXX, CLIST, and SA z/OS.
• Ensure system security and compliance with RACF policies and regulatory standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe system programming (z/OS).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of z/OS, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, USS/OMVS, and SMP/E.
• Experience with large-scale multi-LPAR and Parallel Sysplex environments.
• Proficiency with vendor products from Broadcom, IBM, and BMC.
• Must be able to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives and hybrid cloud integration.
• Experience with z/OSMF, Zowe, and modern APIs.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on mainframe.
• IBM certifications.
