What you will do

• Classify business transactions for VAT, CIT, and other tax implications, ensuring proper recording in the general ledger.
• Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare statutory and group financial reports.
• Coordinate with external regulatory bodies such as GUS, NBP, ZUS, and the Tax Office.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
• Identify accounting and tax risks and implement corrective actions and process improvements.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in finance and accounting, including experience in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations (VAT, CIT, WHT) and IFRS standards.
• Proven experience in period-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems/tools.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
