What you will do

• Manage end-to-end VAT compliance, including VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat, and SAF-T reporting.
• Provide VAT advisory by analyzing legislation and proposing practical solutions for business transactions.
• Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities during VAT audits and coordinate responses.
• Drive process improvements by leveraging AI to enhance VAT data quality and automate controls.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Supply Chain, Tech, and Customer Care teams on VAT-related projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in indirect tax or a comparable in-house VAT expert role.
• Profound expertise in Polish and EU VAT regulations, including Intrastat reporting.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German or another European language is a distinct advantage.
