Inspector B (Engineering)

What you will do

• Perform visual, workmanship, dimensional, and electrical inspections on materials, components, and systems.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and specifications to approve or reject units.
• Document inspection results and generate detailed reports.
• Conduct sampling and testing of incoming raw materials and components.
• Utilize specialized equipment including microscopes, micrometers, and oscilloscopes.
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and safety rules.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus two years of technical schooling in engineering, science, or mathematics (or an Associate's degree).
• Quality Inspector Certification (CQI) from the ASQ.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality assurance organization.
• Experience inspecting mechanical (stampings, castings) or electrical (PCBs, MCM/MEMS) commodities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
