Inspection Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Use manual gages, tools, and 3D scanners such as FARO, Romer, and Creaform to acquire scan data.
• Process raw scan data and export files using PolyWorks and Zeiss software.
• Document inspection results and maintain non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain the Metrology Lab organization following 5S principles.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Quality Inspector role within aerospace, automotive, or similar production environments.
• High-school diploma.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate scanning arms for extended periods.
• Computer literacy (Windows, Teams, Excel).

Nice to have

• Associate or higher degree in a technical field.
• Experience interfacing with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Background in regulated or high-performance manufacturing environments.
