What you will do

• Coordinate final inspections for products coming from stock rooms before shipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of completed hardware, checking features like tie-wire, nameplates, and lead length.
• Review test data sheets and documentation for conformance to specifications and legibility.
• Track and manage the product flow from stock rooms through inspection to the shipping stage.
• Investigate and resolve issues preventing shipments, escalating to management when necessary.
• Handle transactional communications with customers regarding shipment status and inspection outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inspection or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of FAA processes as they apply to Final Shipping Inspection.
• High School diploma or GED, or demonstrated ability to follow complex English work instructions.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Mandatory enrollment and participation in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Materials Management or Business.
• Prior experience working specifically within the aerospace or defense industry.
