What you will do

• Collaborate with ASIC design engineers to research and develop solutions for product platforms.
• Participate in design reviews and technical specifications to ensure solution quality.
• Design and implement test environments to validate and optimize system designs.
• Prepare software for SoC bring-up and validation, including debugging and implementation.
• Evaluate hardware blocks and documentation from a Linux kernel perspective.
• Maintain and develop existing Linux kernel platforms.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or electrical engineering.
• Strong background in Linux kernel development.
• Proven experience in embedded C development and debugging close to hardware.
• Familiarity with version control systems and code review tools like Git and Gerrit.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite office environment in Stockholm.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux kernel upstreaming.
• Background in SoC design and ASIC IP configuration.
• Understanding of embedded device boot processes.
• Experience with QEMU for system simulation.
• Proficiency in Python and Rust.
