What you will do

• Design and develop software for various platforms, specifically focusing on safety-critical systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to DO-178 standards.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Participate in requirement analysis and traceability to guarantee compliance with safety and security standards.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience with DO-178 standards.
• Strong programming skills in C and Python.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with requirement-based development processes and version control systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to pass security vetting based on current security protection regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with safety-critical software in aerospace, Med-tech, or defense.
• Knowledge of security protocols for safety-critical systems.
• Familiarity with HDL such as VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems.
• Knowledge of model-based development tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
