What you will do

• Design and develop software for safety-critical embedded platforms and architectures.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to DO-178 standards.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure reliability and performance.
• Participate in requirement analysis and traceability to guarantee compliance with safety and security standards.
• Contribute to an agile team through sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Solid programming skills in C and Python.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with requirement-based development processes and version control systems.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be able to pass a security vetting based on current regulations; citizenship obligations may apply.

Nice to have

• Experience with safety-critical software for aerospace, Med-tech, or defense applications.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for safety-critical systems.
• Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems.
• Knowledge of model-based development tools like MATLAB/Simulink or DO-178 standards.
