Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in office in St. John’s or Toronto, Canada)

What you will do

• Design and deploy AWS security solutions using SCPs, RCPs, and IAM strategies.
• Provide security guidance to internal teams to integrate controls into enterprise applications.
• Automate and manage security tools like Prisma Cloud and Cortex XSOAR.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities across AWS infrastructure to ensure compliance.
• Perform advanced threat hunting via SIEM platforms to prevent security incidents.
• Collaborate across teams to embed security throughout the application lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical cloud experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement cybersecurity solutions in multi-account AWS architectures.
• Strong understanding of identity, data, and network boundaries in cloud environments.
• Experience with Terraform for developing secure, reusable module-based solutions.
• Strong Python scripting experience for AWS environment management.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Java, Jenkins, Linux, and Bash.
• Enterprise-level infrastructure management and system administration experience.
• Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience in financial technology or regulated industries.
