What you will do

• Provide technical leadership on cloud architecture, configuration management, and environment design.
• Standardize security across all environments using automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to ensure alignment with security strategies.
• Identify and mitigate cloud platform vulnerabilities in GCP, balancing security with business agility.
• Manage IAM in GCP to enforce principles of least privilege and role-based access control.
• Support internal and external audits of the cloud environment to ensure compliance with expectations.

Requirements

• Experience managing cloud security programs, IAM, and cloud-native security solutions like firewalls.
• Expert-level knowledge of GCP infrastructure components.
• Ability to audit and provide support for security controls within a cloud environment.
• Experience with Terraform and Cloud Application Platforms such as Heroku.
• Must be based in North America.
• Applied AI fluency is a baseline expectation for all team members.
