What you will do

• Design and implement cloud security controls across AWS and Google Cloud, including network segmentation and data protection.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and policy-as-code guardrails to enable secure engineering practices.
• Operate and tune CSPM/CNAPP tooling to identify and remediate misconfigurations and exposures.
• Strengthen IAM, secrets management, and just-in-time access patterns across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines through IaC scanning, container security, and software supply chain controls.
• Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams on incident response, threat detection, and secure AI/ML workload patterns.

Requirements

• 4+ years of security engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on cloud security in AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native attack paths, IAM risks, and network security controls.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation and security workflows.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on enabling engineering teams to build securely.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools like Wiz or Prisma Cloud.
• Experience securing AI/ML workloads, LLM integrations, or data science platforms.
• Background in cloud incident response, forensics, or threat hunting.
