TL;DR

Educational Consultant (EdTech): Facilitating professional development and instructional support for K-8 educators with an accent on ELA and Mathematics curriculum implementation. Focus on delivering high-quality training, analyzing student data, and coaching school leaders to improve classroom equity and learning outcomes.

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Illinois. This role requires up to 80% travel within the state and potentially out-of-state.

Compensation: Starting at $65/hour for professional learning delivery, with additional pay for preparation and travel.

What you will do

  • Facilitate on-site product training and professional learning workshops for teachers and administrators.
  • Provide tailored support for lesson planning, pacing, and data-driven instructional decision-making.
  • Collaborate with school leaders to identify implementation successes and address challenges.
  • Maintain expertise in core and supplemental reading and math products.
  • Track and submit detailed training notes and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate in internal professional development cycles, including observation and coaching.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Illinois.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching or coaching educators.
  • Strong knowledge of K-8 ELA and Mathematics State Standards.
  • High level of comfort with digital assessment tools and data application.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
