What you will do

• Develop and implement global test equipment replacement and upgrade strategies for OE and Aftermarket units.
• Lead root cause investigations to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and throughput across global sites.
• Provide technical oversight for hirify.global-owned test equipment located at supplier facilities.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk for global test equipment modernization projects.
• Define standards and technology roadmaps to address obsolescence and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on test equipment capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related).
• Significant experience in test equipment engineering, design, or sustainment within a regulated industry.
• Demonstrated experience in project engineering or technical program leadership.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, automated test systems, and data acquisition.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. and handle export-controlled information.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering.
• Experience with hydraulic or flight control test equipment systems.
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma or reliability engineering methodologies.
• Knowledge of obsolescence management and lifecycle planning.
