What you will do

• Develop detailed flight test plans, methodologies, and safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and lead flight test execution, including remote piloting.
• Monitor real-time flight data and troubleshoot system issues during testing.
• Analyze flight performance data and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
• Implement risk management strategies and enforce safety protocols in outdoor environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and refine test methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of aerospace engineering experience, with at least 5 years in UAV flight testing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).
• Experience with data acquisition, telemetry, and flight control systems.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and airworthiness standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel up to 50%.
