What you will do

• Optimize image quality for new camera projects by tuning exposure, focus algorithms, and noise filtering.
• Collaborate with mechanics and electronics teams to select optimal optics and image sensors.
• Test cameras, optics, and thermal sensors in both laboratory and real-world indoor/outdoor environments.
• Develop hardware prototypes in cooperation with engineers to optimize image capture.
• Assist in the development of camera firmware and improve image system calibration.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in physics, nano, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of optics, lenses, and image sensors.
• Experience with C and/or C++ and programming in Python.
• Experience developing software within a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in image processing algorithms, advanced mathematics, and statistics.
