What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, feedback, and support for career growth.
  • Partner with product and design to define requirements and deliver features for high-value Robinhood customers.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of backend or full-stack systems for concierge tools, tax workflows, and estate planning.
  • Establish engineering processes to ensure reliable delivery, code quality, and system scalability.
  • Contribute technically by reviewing architecture decisions and solving complex implementation challenges.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience managing engineers with a track record of supporting career development.
  • Experience building and launching 0→1 or early-stage consumer-facing products.
  • Strong backend or full-stack technical background with the ability to guide architectural decisions.
  • Experience shipping customer-facing software at scale in environments with 50+ engineers.
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear technical plans and measurable milestones.
  • Must be based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance expected 5 days per week.
