Web Project Manager

TL;DR

Web Project Manager (Web Development/CMS): Lead end-to-end enterprise web development projects, including website redesigns, CMS implementations, and marketing technology integrations, with an accent on WordPress workflows, design system/component library rollout, and analytics/marketing automation deployment. Focus on managing delivery health (timelines, resources, risks, ROI/KPIs), ensuring QA with accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.2) and performance optimization, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders from marketing, design, and engineering.

Location: Remote (United States). Travel twice a year for in-person meetings at the Brooklyn office.

Salary: $96,000 - $108,000 (gross). Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage enterprise-level web development projects from conception to launch, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Define requirements and technical specifications with marketing content strategists, marketing analytics specialists, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams.
• Own WordPress CMS implementation and optimization, including scalable content workflows and authoring experiences.
• Coordinate design system and component library implementation across multiple web properties to maintain brand consistency and accessibility.
• Oversee marketing technology stack deployment and optimization, including analytics (Google Analytics, DataDog) and marketing automation (HubSpot).
• Track project health and delivery metrics using tools like Jira dashboards and Smartsheets; provide regular updates to executive leadership using Jira and Adobe Workfront.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in web development, including at least 3 years in a senior role leading teams of 5+ developers and designers.
• Hands-on expertise with modern content management systems, including CMS implementation and optimization.
• Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks), web optimization, and API integrations.
• Proven experience managing marketing technology implementations (analytics platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools).
• Experience collaborating with design teams and tools (Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite) and understanding UX/UI principles.
• Ability to travel twice a year for in-person meetings at the Brooklyn office.
