What you will do
- Apply human-centered principles, methodologies, and technologies to design human-machine systems and products.
- Develop and implement research methodologies and qualitative/quantitative analysis plans to test and evaluate concepts and prototypes across product development phases.
- Design and execute use-simulation tests for user need investigation, concept exploration/selection/refinement, requirements development, and formal usability validation with intended users.
- Identify and analyze technological problems/risks and perform theoretical human factors investigations to inform new product design direction.
- Work as a technical specialist individual contributor, delivering R&D and systems initiatives from design through implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 8 years, or PhD with 6 years.
- For degrees earned outside the United States: provide a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
- U.S. work authorization: sponsorship (H-1B, TN, J, etc.) is offered exclusively for Principal-level roles and above; roles below Principal require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and for the duration of employment.
