Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week at our Menlo Park facilities)

Compensation: $179,521 - $211,201 base salary per year (Total compensation package: $317,881)

What you will do

• Own the complete UX vision and strategy for patient and provider platforms from research through implementation.
• Apply systems thinking to simplify complex relationships between patients, providers, lab processes, and data systems.
• Lead the full design process including user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and design system components.
• Drive user research initiatives to uncover insights that inform product strategy and design decisions.
• Mentor junior designers and UX contractors while building a culture of design excellence.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and clinical teams to align design work with organizational goals.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in UX, product design, or service design.
• 3+ years in leadership roles with demonstrated ability to own design strategy.
• Proven track record designing in healthcare, biotech, or similarly complex regulated environments.
• Expert-level skills in design and prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG) and healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, FDA).
• Must be able to work on-site in Menlo Park, CA 2-3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in both B2B and B2C healthcare product contexts.
• Background working with AI-powered product experiences.
