What you will do

• Lead and implement strategic development and execution of Inland Marine organizational goals.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to underwriting teams and direct reports.
• Manage underwriting functions to achieve profit, revenue, loss ratio, and expense targets.
• Oversee the quality of unit performance through periodic audits and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal resources and retail brokers to coordinate services.
• Balance team workloads and maintain appropriate staffing levels within the Northeast region.

Requirements

• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship provided).
• 5-10 years of experience in inland marine and property underwriting.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Proven ability to make sound underwriting decisions and manage complex projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated sales, marketing, and relationship management skills.
