What you will do

• Lead and develop design managers and senior individual contributors to strengthen team performance.
• Shape talent strategy, including hiring, capability development, and career pathways.
• Define organizational strategy in partnership with executive leadership to align design with business outcomes.
• Establish cultural standards, operating principles, and quality expectations for the design organization.
• Foster enterprise-level collaboration across design, product, and engineering stakeholders.
• Drive design quality and consistency at scale while communicating the value of design to executives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, including 4+ years in people leadership managing managers or multi-team functions.
• Proven track record of scaling high-performing design teams in enterprise or B2B SaaS environments.
• Strong strategic mindset connecting design investments to business outcomes like revenue and retention.
• Deep experience with design systems, operational excellence, and scaling practices.
• AI fluency at an organizational level with the ability to influence workflows and quality standards.
• Executive-level communication skills for presenting and shaping decisions with senior leadership.

• Experience leading AI-native transformation across a design organization.
• Understanding of AI infrastructure and agent-based workflows.
